Intercom & Entry Systems

MNB installs audio and video intercom systems that give occupants a clear way to identify visitors and manage entry. We coordinate entrance stations, interior or front-desk answering, directories, pathways, network requirements, and access-control release.

Project fit

Where this scope fits.

Bring MNB in during planning, tender, active construction, or an owner-led upgrade. The first review establishes field conditions, interfaces, and the useful next step.

  • Reception, vestibule, and controlled commercial entrances
  • Shared commercial and institutional entrances
  • Industrial gates and remote receiving points
  • Replacement of aging entry and call-box systems

Installation scope

What the work can include.

Final inclusions follow the drawings, site review, selected systems, and trade split. A typical intercom systems scope can cover:

  • 01

    Audio and video entrance stations

  • 02

Reception, concierge, and interior answering stations

  • 03

    Tenant directory and call-routing configuration

  • 04

Mobile or network connectivity where supported

  • 05

    Door or gate release integration

  • 06

Cabling, programming, call testing, and handoff

Coordination

Define the interfaces early.

Entry systems depend on door hardware, network or telephone service, mounting details, accessibility, and the people who answer calls. We confirm the full visitor path before finalizing equipment and wiring.

Commissioning and handoff

  • Calls, video, audio, and entry release tested together
  • Directory and answering workflow reviewed with operators
  • Stations and associated field wiring identified
  • Supported administration steps demonstrated

Common questions

Before the project review.

These answers establish the typical path. Site conditions and the issued scope determine the final recommendation.

Can an intercom release an access-controlled door?

Yes, when the selected systems and opening support the required interface. MNB coordinates the release sequence and tests it with the access-control and locking hardware.

Can calls go to a front desk or mobile device?

Both are possible with suitable products and connectivity. The answering workflow, hours, network availability, and ongoing service requirements are reviewed before selection.

Can MNB replace an existing entry call box?

Yes. Existing cabling, directory requirements, mounting conditions, entry hardware, and operator needs are reviewed first so the replacement scope is realistic.

Review the intercom systems scope with MNB.

Share the project location, stage, which documents are available, and the result the system needs to deliver.
