Intrusion & Alarm Systems
MNB installs commercial intrusion systems with clear zone planning and complete functional testing. Perimeter contacts, interior detection, control equipment, notification, and monitoring communication are coordinated around how the property will actually be secured and used.
Project fit
Where this scope fits.
Bring MNB in during planning, tender, active construction, or an owner-led upgrade. The first review establishes field conditions, interfaces, and the useful next step.
- Commercial tenant spaces and owner-occupied buildings
- Warehouses, service facilities, retail, and offices
- Renovations replacing obsolete alarm equipment
- Projects combining intrusion with access control and video
Installation scope
What the work can include.
Final inclusions follow the drawings, site review, selected systems, and trade split. A typical intrusion systems scope can cover:
- 01
Alarm panels, keypads, expanders, and power supplies
- 02
Door, window, motion, and glass-break detection
- 03
Zone planning, naming, and operating schedules
- 04
Sirens, strobes, and notification-device wiring
- 05
Monitoring communicator coordination and setup
- 06
Walk testing, zone verification, and user handoff
Coordination
Define the interfaces early.
The intrusion scope is reviewed against entry routines, operating hours, controlled doors, ceiling conditions, monitoring requirements, and other trades so devices and zones support the real security plan.
Commissioning and handoff
- Every initiating device and notification output tested
- Zones named in language operators can recognize
- Arming, disarming, and alarm workflows demonstrated
- Monitoring handoff coordinated where applicable
Common questions
Before the project review.
These answers establish the typical path. Site conditions and the issued scope determine the final recommendation.
Can MNB replace an older commercial alarm panel?
Yes. We first review the existing wiring, devices, communicator, and monitoring arrangement to determine what can be reused safely and what should be replaced.
Do you provide alarm monitoring?
MNB installs and configures the field system and can coordinate the communicator and monitoring handoff. The monitoring arrangement is confirmed as part of the project scope.
Can intrusion follow access-control schedules?
Integration options depend on the selected platforms. Where supported and appropriate, we coordinate the systems to reduce conflicting operator workflows and then test the final sequence.
